1. Announcement
● Al Hamriyah cultural and sports club is pleased to announce Al Hamriya Blitz chess Turnament 2025
, which will be held on March 9th, 2025.
2. Participation
● The participation is allowed For all players have FIDE ID And the turnament is not rated
● ● Registration will be accepted only by link : https://sharjahchess.ae/register
● One-hundred (100) players will be allowed to participate
3. Data
● Swiss System Tournament of nine (7) rounds.
● The tournament will be held by a total of 3 minutes & 2 seconds increment per move, per opponent and per round.
4. Scoring System & Tie-Breaks
● Point system will be in force as the first scoring criteria:
○ 1 for a win.
○ ½ for a draw.
○ 0 for a lose.
● The tie-break criteria will be (by order):
○ Direct Encounter.
○ Buchholz-cut1.
○ Buchholz-cut2.
○ Great Number of Victory
5. Playing Schedule
first round will started in 9th march 2025 at 9:30 PM
6. Prizes
● Prizes (total AED 3600 ) will be distributed according to the following table.
● Note that the prizes will not be shared,
